To get to the domestic airport terminal in Brisbane (a trip which takes approximately 10 - 15 minutes from the CBD, and covers around 12 kilometres) you can take a taxi, drive yourself and park on site, hop on the public buses, or utilise the Airtrain which leaves around every 15 minutes during busy periods.
On the day of departure, make your way to the domestic terminal at Brisbane Airport. While you wait to board the plane, you will find plenty of facilities to use, including a food court, cafes, restaurants, shops, ATMs and pay phones.
When travelling from Brisbane to Cairns, you will fly into Cairns Airport. This terminal isn’t particularly large, but does have multiple shops and restaurants you can make use of.
