Ho Chi Minh City arrivals

Ho Chi Minh City Airport, officially Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport, is the only international airport serving the former Vietnamese capital. A new airport, Long Thanh, is scheduled to open in 2025.

A dedicated international terminal was built in 2007. Arriving passengers come into level 2 where they pass through immigration checks. Baggage collection and customs are down one level. It's possible to take the stairs to a mezzanine level to get a bite to eat.

The airport is 6km from the city centre. In a taxi, this is likely to cost no more than $10, but summoning an Uber is often cheaper. Buses are also available from the front of the terminal.
