Perth Airport (PER) information
Perth Airport, the airport that services the city and its surrounding region, is situated approximately 17km from the centre of the city. You can make your way to the airport in a taxi or a bus; by driving your own vehicle (you’ll find short-term and long-term parking available on site); or by utilising the regular Perth Airport Connect Shuttle.
On the day of your flight to Wellington from Perth, you will typically need to make your way to the international terminal at Perth Airport. Within this building you will find plenty of passenger services, including retail outlets, and cafes, bars and restaurants.
Your flight into Wellington will usually land at Wellington International Airport, the main airport servicing the city, but could also potentially take you to Paraparaumu Airport, officially called Kapiti Coast Airport, which is further afield from the centre of Wellington. Both airports have multiple eateries where you can pick up a drink, snack or meal, while the Wellington airport also has numerous shops to browse if you’d like to buy any last-minute items.

Alternatively, you may prefer to use other transport options, such as an airport transfer, a shuttle bus, or a rental car. Also note that Paraparaumu Airport is quite close to Paraparaumu rail station, which can be reached in a taxi from the terminal.
