Airlines that fly from London to Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles can easily be reached through two airports located in the city of London. London currently has six international airports within the agglomeration, with two of them serving direct and connection flights to Los Angeles via the Los Angeles International Airport. The first one is the London – Heathrow Airport. The Heathrow Airport provides nine daily flights to Los Angeles through five airlines, including British Airways, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, Delta, and Air New Zealand. British Airways and Virgin Atlantic have two flights daily from here, while United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, and Air New Zealand have one each. The earliest flight out of the Heathrow to Los Angeles is at 9:45 in the morning and the latest one leaves at 4:20 in the afternoon. The other airport serving the London – Los Angeles route is the Gatwick Airport. Through the Gatwick Airport, Norwegian Airlines provides one flight every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The flight every Sunday and Thursday leaves at 1:45 in the afternoon, the Monday flight leaves at 2:10 in the afternoon, while the Wednesday flight leaves at 3:10 in the afternoon. Several connecting flights via Amsterdam, San Francisco, Paris, Phoenix, Seattle, San Diego, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Frankfurt, Dallas, and Dusseldorf are also available, as provided by airlines such as KLM, Air France, Air Canada, Lufthansa, and others. Terminal Information

Depending on the airline and the airport of departure, travellers may find themselves perusing any of the state-of-the-art terminal facilities located in the Gatwick and Heathrow Airports. Upon landing at Los Angeles International Airport, travellers can reach their respective destinations by bus, by Airport Metro Connector rail system, by car via 405 and 105 freeways, by taxis, and by private shuttles.

Practical Information

All travellers should prepare the necessary documents when flying from London to Los Angeles. They are advised to complete these documents at least two weeks before their flight departure, and present all valid documents upon their departure to the respective airport authorities and check-in personnel.
