Getting there
Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport is the main airport serving Sydney, and is located just a 20-25 minute drive from the city centre. Both the domestic (T2/T3) and international (T1) terminals have their own train station, which is part of Sydney’s CityRail Suburban network which services almost all areas of Sydney. If you are staying in Sydney’s city centre, the Airport Connect shuttle bus offers door to door services to Sydney Domestic and International airport, and costs $16 one way, or $30 return when booked online.

London Gatwick (LGW) Arrival Information
Getting there
London Gatwick Airport is located around 45km south of London’s city centre, and public transport is easily available from the airport to the city centre. The Gatwick Express train offers a non-stop service from London Gatwick to Victoria Station, in central london. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and trains depart every 10 minutes. A one-way journey costs £19.90 (approx. $40 AUD) if purchased at the ticket office, or £17.70 (approx $34 AUD) if purchased online in advance. There is also a low-cost frequent coach service non-stop from London and Gatwick with prices from £2 (around $4 AUD). Buses run between 4am and 1am every day of the week, and depart every 15 minutes at peak times. If you prefer to take a taxi, this can also be booked online in advance in order to secure the best price. Journeys by taxi to the city centre from Gatwick take around one hour.
Terminal information
Gatwick has two terminals, the North terminal and the South terminal. The terminal into which your flight will arrive into depends moreso on the airline that you have flown with, rather than the origin of your flight. Emirates flights tend to operate from the North terminal, and Turkish Airlines tend to fly and out of the South terminal. These are subject to change however, so be sure to check the London Gatwick website closer to your date of travel for the most up to date terminal information.
Time difference from Sydney to London
