The small regional airport in Mount Isa is located around 8kms from the town centre, a distance which takes approximately 10-11 minutes to drive. On the day of your flight from Mount Isa to Brisbane, make sure you get to the airport at least half an hour before takeoff so that you can check in and drop off your luggage. You should have some identification, such as a driver’s licence, with you too.
