When you fly from Ceduna to Adelaide, the short journey ends in this fairly compact airport, which passengers will find easy to navigate. The amenities are comprehensive, with access to free wireless internet throughout the terminal, ATMs, currency exchange services, as well as baggage storage lockers, postal services and plenty of food outlets, from fast food to sit-down dining options.

Transport

You will find the taxi rank outside the terminal, on the left of the pedestrian plaza. A journey in a taxi will cost you around $20-25 to get into the city centre, depending on traffic.

There is public transport available through Adelaide Metro, called the JetExpress that runs directly from the airport to the city. Visitors can find these buses leaving from Stop 10 on Airport Road, on the South East Side.

Of course, a popular option is to rent a car, and you can find the rental desks for all the major car hire companies on the ground level of the terminal, next to the baggage claim area.

Though this is a domestic flight, you must carry photo identification with you. This can be a social security card, a driver’s license or your passport. Please note: if you are an international traveller flying within Australia, it is recommended that you use your passport as your primary form of identification.

How long should you leave to get to the airport?

As this is a domestic flight departing and arriving in domestic terminals, it is recommended that you check in at least 45-60 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Please be aware that if you are travelling in a group, or are going on to a connecting flight, that you arrive 90-120 minutes before departure time.
