Departing from Bangkok
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is the main airport of Bangkok, handling most domestic and international airlines. Low-cost carriers use the smaller Don Mueang Airport (DMK).
Suvarnabhumi Airport has a single large terminal for all flights. Check-in counters for all airlines are on the 4th floor. While waiting for your flight, you can relax in your airline's lounge, get something to eat at the 24-hour food court, do some duty-free shopping and use the free Wi-Fi.
It's recommended that you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before flights to Singapore.
Arriving in Singapore
Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) is Singapore's only passenger airport, located in the east of the island around 20km from the city centre. Arriving passengers can get money from an ATM or currency exchange or use the other extensive airport services before leaving.
The airport is connected to the Singapore MRT (Mass Rapid Transit), which costs from SG$2 depending on your destination if you have an EZ-Link card. Taking a taxi is likely to take longer and much more expensive at up to SG$30, or you can hire a car from the airport.
