Departing from: There is only one terminal in ADL, which services all flights. Double-check which gate you are required to depart from when you reach the airport.

As the fifth busiest airport in Australia, Adelaide Airport is well equipped for passengers flying domestic or international. You can pick up a snack, or something more substantial at one of the many food outlets in the terminal. Kick back and relax in the Singapore Airlines International lounge or update your Facebook using the wireless Internet throughout the terminal. There are duty-free shops if you fancy picking up some gifts on your way through, and access to an ATM if you need it.

Phuket Airport (HKT)

Arriving in: There is one main terminal that services all flights into HKT.

Phuket is one of Thailand’s most popular tourist destinations and as such the airport is undergoing an expansion project. In the meantime there are enough facilities at hand to get by; along with the free WiFi, transiting passengers will find a restaurant, post office, a duty free shop, a currency exchange booth, and a souvenir shop.

You’ll find the rank for metered taxis just outside the terminal. A taxi into Phuket city will cost you about 400THB ($15) and will take around 30 minutes. There are public transport services you can access outside the airport, and there is public bus that runs into town, but these do not service the airport frequently, and there is no fixed timetable.

You can find car hire desks within the airport, with all of the major companies being represented.

Yes. This is an international flight, so you are required to carry your passport with you.

How long should you leave to get to the airport?

As this is an international connecting flight, it is recommended that you check in at least 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time for this portion of the flight. Please be aware that if you are travelling in a group, or are going on to a connecting flight, that you arrive 120 minutes before departure time.
