There are cash machines both before and after security, and passengers will have access to currency exchange, be able to book into nearby hotels, and arrange transport from the airport. Transport
There are lots of options for getting into the centre of town from London Gatwick. One of the cheapest and most efficient ways is to go by rail. There are a number of different options; the first is to take the Gatwick Express, a 30 minute journey which takes you directly into London Victoria, a station in the centre of town. These trains run every 15 minutes and cost around 18GBP ($36) for a single fare and about 30GBP for a return ($60). You can also take the Southern and Thameslink rail services to Clapham Junction and London Bridge, which are about half the price, especially if you book in advance.
There are also coaches run by easyBus and National Express into town, which can start from as low as 2GBP ($4) but only with advance purchase. These also take a lot longer to get into the centre of town and depend entirely on the traffic.
You can grab a taxi right out of the terminal, but that isn’t recommended as it can become really expensive. You can book online through the airport, but prices will run to around 80-90GBP ($160-180).
