Darwin International Airport (DRW) is pretty well serviced. Passengers will find ATMs, a selection of restaurants and bars offering food and drink. For your retailing needs, there is a newsagent and a souvenir shop to pick up any trinkets you want to bring to friends and family. If you need to connect to the internet, there is wireless access throughout the airport.

The taxi rank is just outside the terminal, expect a journey into town to cost between $25-30. If you are travelling in a group, or with your family, it may be cheaper to take the Darwin Airport Shuttle. A group of three of more will be charged $13 per head, whereas a family group (2 adults, 3 children) will be charged $40 one way.
