Why Fly With Airnorth?

Ways To Check-In

Online check in is now available for Airnorth flights, but otherwise you can check in at the airport as usual. Both services open 2 hours before the flight is due to depart. It is important to ensure that you carry identification with you, or your passport if you are travelling on an international journey. Airnorth advises that passengers check in at least 90 minutes before an international departure, and at least 60 minutes before a domestic flight.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Baggage allowances depend entirely on the type of aircraft used in your journey. These are small planes and so the restrictions must be adhered to or your bag will be rejected for the flight. For the E170 Jet you may bring up to 20kg of checked luggage providing that you are not connecting to a smaller craft. For the E120 Brasilia and Metroliner 23 planes, you may only check up to 13kg of luggage free of charge.

Hand baggage can be up to 9kg and to dimensions of 56cm x 36xm x 23cm for a E170 plane, up to 4kg and at measurements of 48cm x 34cm x 21cm for the E120 Brasilia planes, and you may only bring small, soft handbags onto the Metroliner 23 aircraft. Should you bring anything bigger you will be made to check the bag and it will be subject to additional charges.

You will be assigned a seat, though you may ask at the staffed counter if you would like to request a different seat, though any changes will be at the airline’s discretion.

Booking Fees

Airnorth allows passengers to book their flights online via the VeRSE IBE system. The online booking system allows secure payment with any of the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, and American Express. The airline also offers a wide range of group rates. Group bookings should be done with a minimum of 9 passengers, just contact Airnorth’s dedicated Reservations team for assistance.

In-Flight Service

There is an in-flight magazine called OUTthere for your reading entertainment whilst you fly. You may also pick up reading materials at the airport before departing if you want to read something else.

On the larger Embraer craft, complimentary refreshments are offered to passengers, though any alcoholic beverages must be purchased. Unfortunately, Airnorth cannot provide any special meals due to the nature of varying operational requirements, though the airline welcomes any passengers with dietary needs or restrictions to bring aboard their own prepared meals for consumption while they fly.
