Departing from Da Nang
Da Nang Airport (DAD) is one of Vietnam’s busiest airports, and has undergone a recent refurbishment. This airport’s modern single terminal supplies passengers with access to WiFi, several dining outlets, and a duty-free shop. For all other facilities, you are advised to find these services in town, or at your destination airport.
Arrive at least 1 hour before your domestic flight. If you are travelling during peak season or with a group leave additional time.
Arriving in Ho Chi Minh
Ho Chi Minh City Airport (SGN) is one of the largest airports in Vietnam, and a major hub for Ho Chi Minh City and its surrounds. Passengers will be pleased that they can access free-of-charge internet, cash machines, a spa, medical services, duty-free shopping, tons of restaurants, information counters, and bureau de change booths.
Two terminals are in operation here, and these are separated by international and domestic flights.
Jumping into a taxi from the airport’s terminals to the city centre will come to 200,000VND ($13) roundabouts, and take roughly 35 minutes in light traffic. Alternatively you can get an airport transfer through Skyscanner’s search tools.
Utilise Skyscanner’s car hire search filters for the best chance at saving money on your car rental, though if you’d prefer to wait until you land, you can find plenty of companies represented at the airport.
