Getting there

Brisbane Airport is easy to get to by road or rail. Driving to the airport from the city centre takes around 15 minutes, and both long and short term parking is available at the international and domestic terminals. Prices are cheapest when booked online in advance. You can also catch the Airtrain from Brisbane Central, which takes around 23 minutes, and costs $17.50 one way (early bird discounts are available if you book your Airtrain tickets online in advance).

Getting there

Wellington International Airport is located around 7.2km by road from Wellington city centre, on New Zealand’s North Island. Buses and taxis are the main methods of transport to and from the airport, as there is no direct rail service connecting the airport with surrounding areas. The Airport Flyer bus (route 91) connects passengers from the airport to Wellington city centre. It departs from the airport approximately every 20 minutes and travels through the centre of Wellington. Free Wi-Fi is available on board, and the journey takes around 20 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi will cost around $35 NZD (around $33.40 AUD) from the airport to the city centre.

Hiring a car is also an excellent way to explore the region, and is easily available from all major car rental providers from Wellington Airport. You can also organise your own airport transfers online in advance of your arrival, in order to save time and get your adventure started as soon as possible.
