Geneva Airport, (which was previously known as Cointrin Airport) is the main airport of Switzerland’s second largest city (by population), Geneva. It is located approximately a 10-minute drive from the Geneva city centre, and is well connected to the city and surrounding areas of Switzerland and Europe by public transport services and roads. The train to Geneva city centre departs every 12 minutes during peak hours, and the journey takes approximately 6 minutes.
