Cathay Pacific is the only airline that operates direct flights from Perth, Australia to Hong Kong. The flights occur twice every Sunday, Monday, and Friday, and once every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Connecting flights via Singapore are also available, offered by Singapore Airlines, Qantas, Cathay Pacific, Scoot, Virgin Australia, and Dragonair.
Flights to Hong Kong from Perth fly out of Perth Airport’s international terminal, or Terminal 1. The international terminal has five jetways and eight gates and serves as the gateway to and from destinations outside of Australia. Terminal 1 was scheduled for a redevelopment for an expanded check-in hall, overhauled departure area, among others. The terminal also has four airline lounges namely the Emirates lounge, Singapore Airlines Silver Kris lounge, Malaysia Airlines lounge, and Qantas Captains Club. From Perth Airport, passengers for international flights may check-in approximately three hours before the scheduled departure time. As a general guidance, we advise all travellers to always have a valid passport, booking reference, visa (if applicable), along with a valid picture I.D. Upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport, you will go through the Immigration Hall which will require you to present a valid passport and a completed arrival card distributed by your airline before landing.
