There are so many things to see in Egypt, but if you can, you must start in Luxor (LXR). This city by the banks of the Nile is also within close proximity to some of the most astounding ancient treasures in the world, including the Valley of the Kings and Queens, Karnark, and the Colossi of Memnon.

Egypt is also a great hub for exploration of Europe; you can be in Denmark’s colourful Copenhagen (CPH) in about four hours. This city has a long history, and you can learn all about it in the National Museum of Denmark, and at the impressive Christiansborg Palace. Then stroll to the delightful Nyhavn Harbour, and then a little further to gaze upon the Little Mermaid statue that is dedicated to one of Denmark’s most famous sons; Han Christian Anderson.

For an exciting long-haul destination, fly to Osaka (KIX) considered to be the cuisine capital of Japan, and home to the striking Osaka Castle. Added to that, you are only a half hour train ride from the ancient capital of Kyoto, where you can still tour the Imperial Palace, see the Golden Pavilion, and walk through the atmospheric tori gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine.
