Cheap flights from Belgium

Belgium is the home of the EU Headquarters, and is a huge international hub. You can sift through all your travel options with Skyscanner, and locate the best flight deals for the route you’re after.

Belgium is a small country, and so is only served by five commercial airports, with the largest facilities situated in Brussels, the capital. The full list of public airports in Belgium are:

·         Brussels Airport (BRU)

·         Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL)

·         Liege Airport (LGG)

·         Ostend—Bruges Airport (OST)

·         Antwerp International Airport (ANR)

The Brussels Airport (BRU) is the key aviation facility in the country, handling almost all of the international traffic to and from the country, with almost 200 direct destinations on offer. Brussels Airlines, the flag carrier for the nation, is headquartered at this port, and offers the most flights to passengers. You can also fly with United, Ryanair, Etihad Airways, Ryanair, Air Corsica, TUI fly, KLM, Vueling, Thai Airways, easyJet, EgyptAir, Wizz Air, Emirates, Aer Lingus, and many others.

Popular flights from Belgium

Whilst Brussels tends to get more of the attention, Antwerp (ANR) is a gorgeous European city, with famed attractions like the Rubenshuis and Plantin Moretus Museums, and the remarkable Grand Place, the central part of the city where you can see the 16th century Town Hall. Antwerp is a perfect place to kick off any domestic exploration of Belgium.

However, being the home of the EU means that Brussels is distinctly well set-up for travel around the continent, and short-haul flights of between one and six hours can have you ticking off your travel bucket list in quick succession. Fly to Florence (FLR), a chocolate box city that wends itself beside the Arno, and is home to some of the most incredible works of art in the world thanks to the Uffizi Gallery, and the Galleria dell’Accademia. Make time to wander down to the spectacular Duomo, and the delightful Ponte Vecchio.

Hopping aboard a long-haul flight can have you stepping out into the city streets of Tokyo (NRT), where you can learn about Japanese culture in the Edo-Tokyo Museum, see the amazing Meiji Shrine in Yoyogi Park, and duck into quirky and luxurious shops in Harajuku and Ginza.
