Located on 11 The Circuit, Brisbane Airport in Queensland, Brisbane Airport services both Brisbane and South East Queensland. Both domestic and international flights depart from the airport with Brisbane Airport being a major hub for Virgin Australia. It is approximately 14km from Brisbane’s CBD, which should equate to a 15-minute drive in good traffic conditions.

Services and Facilities

A wide range of facilities are available at Brisbane Airport, including up to 3 hours of free Wi-Fi and 500MB of free browsing data. You’ll find ATMs located on all levels of both international and domestic terminals, along with vending machines as well as pay phones. Mobile charge machines can be found in both international and domestic terminals to ensure your mobile devices never run out of power. 

If you need to do some shopping ahead of your trip, Brisbane Airport houses a large number of shops. Likewise, if you’re keen to grab a bite to eat before you head off, you’ll find a number of restaurants and different cuisine types to suit all budgets. From McDonalds, to Mad Mex or Burger Edge and Hungry Jacks, there’s plenty of food to be enjoyed. 

As for car parking, you can book your car parking online but do be aware that you’ll need to make your reservation at least one hour ahead of your arrival if making your way to Brisbane Airport. Also note that you must use the same credit card used for any booking to both enter and exit the car park. There are also public drop-off and pick-up zones located within the airport.

Driving

Train 

A train station is right in front of the airport terminal so catching a train to the airport is a cost-effective option. Prepare ahead of time to ensure you’re aware of which route to take. 

Taxi 

You should be able to hail a taxi or pre-book one – some popular taxi services in Brisbane include Yellow Cabs as well as Black & White Cabs Brisbane.
