Katoomba is popular and famous because of The Blue Mountains Region for its magnificent cool exotic gardens. What you see us the nature and amazing scenery.
Katoomba provides the things that the metropolis Sydney cannot offer, just by taking 2 hours train ride to the north western part of Sydney. Spend at least a day full in this little town to enjoy its whole package; natural beauties, art, adventure, and town’s heritage, which is completed by the local’s hospitality. A day that worth of the fresher air for lungs, varies enjoyable colors to the eyes, and more variety to the sense of art. There was an unexpected storm during my trip there, but I’d love to have another chance to try a complete Katoomba’s terrific offerings.
A tourist trap, but a pretty one, Katoomba has all of the boutiques and mountain outfitters you'd expect, but some decent dining as well, and makes a decent base for exploring the Blue Mountains. It's the closest town to the Three Sisters Lookout.
Katoomba offers a stimulation of being a very cute town in the middle of some stunning geography. After hiking in the gorges of the Blue Mountains you can stroll the streets of Katoomba and shop in galleries and boutiques. Or have afternoon tea.
