Carrasco International Airport, also known as General Cesáreo L. Berisso International Airport, is the largest and busiest public international airport in Uruguay. The airport is located in the capital city of the country, which is Montevideo. It was major hub for BQB Lineas Areas, the flag carrier of Uruguay. It stopped operations in April 2015 after the airline encountered crisis in 2014. The airport can handle approximately three million passengers a year.
