The only airport in Mayotte is the Dzaoudzi Pamandzi International Airport, located in the town of Dzaoudzi in the Petite-Terre island. Short haul flights within Africa available from this airport are to Mahajanga, Nosy Be, Antananarivo, and Antsiranana in Madagascar; Moroni, Ouani, and Moheli in Comoros; Saint-Denis in Reunion; Dar es Salaam in Tanzania; Pemba in Mozambique; and Nairobi in Kenya.
The only long haul destinations available from Dzaoudzi Pamandzi International Airport are the cities of Paris and Marseille in France. If wishing to fly to other destinations other the ones mentioned, travellers can fly to the airports in Paris and Marseille and from there book flights to other cities in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. These airlines serve flights to destinations mainly within Africa and France. Travellers can also exit Mayotte going to neighbouring islands by boat, through the country’s primary port in Dzaoudzi.
