Cheap flights from Haiti

Haiti, officially known as the Republic of Haiti, is a country in the Caribbean that occupies the Western, smaller portion of the Island of Hispaniola of the Greater Antillean Archipelago. The country shares the island with the Dominican Republic and also owns a small satellite island Île-à-Vache (Cow Island), a famous island where the renowned Port Morgan and Abaka Bay Resorts are located. The North Atlantic Ocean lies in the north of Haiti, while the Caribbean Sea lies in the south. Despite the fact that Haiti is known as the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, it is very much rich in culture, which is something that is entirely rare in other post- colonial countries.

This country is mostly mountainous, but with a flat, wide central plain in the north. Its highest peak is Chaine de la Selle at 2,777 metres. It is divided into three regions, namely, Central Haiti, Northern Haiti, and Southern Haiti. It is a tropical and semiarid country that lies in the hurricane belt which makes it subject to storms from June to November. The official language in Haiti is French and Haitian Creole and its official currency is called the Haitian Gourde.
