Petrol stations near Pristina Airport
If you select a 'full to full' car rental agreement you will need to hand your car back with a full tank.
The nearest place to fill your tank is Al Petrol on the E851, about ten minutes drive to the north-east of the airport.
Driving around Pristina Airport
The government is currently in the process of regenerating the road network, but in the meantime you can expect a few bumpy and unpaved sections. The E851 highway is less than ten minutes drive from the airport. Traffic in Kosovo drives on the right-hand side of the road. The road system in Kosovo can be confusing, so we recommend choosing a car hire package that includes a sat-nav system.
Getting to your destination

It takes about half an hour to drive into downtown Pristina from the airport. Parking is available in parking lots throughout the city, although we recommend looking at hotels in Pristina with private car parking facilities.
Mosques and churches cluster together in the charming old town of Kosovo's second city. Excellent barbecue restaurants add a delicious edge to this atmospheric destination.
It takes about 55 minutes to drive to Prizren from Pristina Airport. There are parking lots throughout the city, and on-street parking is generally not recommended. Most of the accommodation in Prizren has car parking, often free but sometimes with an extra charge.
Ottoman and Serbian architecture dominate in Kosovo's third city, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. Haggle for souvenirs in the buzzing marketplace or get out and explore the Rugova Mountains.
It takes about an hour and fifteen minutes to drive to Peja from Pristina Airport. Parking in the city centre is widely available and there's a vast array of hotels and other accommodation types which offer free parking facilities for guests.
