All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd./ Zennikkū/ ANA is a Japanese airline headquartered at the Shiodome City Center in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. ANA has a fleet size of 210 which operates services to 49 destinations in Japan and 32 international routes. The airline also controls several subsidiary passenger carriers (general and commercial aviation) and additional smaller carriers. ANA was announced as a 5-Star Airline by Skytrax on 2013. ANA’s cargo carriers operate on 18 international routes and six domestic routes. The airline’s domestic route covers all of Japan while its international route network extends through China, Korea, Southeast Asia, United States, and Western Europe. It also shares codeshare agreements with several international and domestic airlines including Asiana Airlines, EVA Air, Jet Airways, Qatar Airways, Air Canada, Air China, Ibex Airlines, Oriental Air Bridge, and Skynet Asia Airways.
How to Check In
ANA makes checking-in easier and more convenient for you. Web check-in allows passengers to automatically check-in 24 hours before their desired flight upon registration, select seats from a real-time map, and check-in for ANA Group-operated international flights, along with connecting flights operated by other airlines. This service is available for passengers with e-tickets issued and up to nine people at once. For passengers checking-in at the airport, proceed to the international airport counter. For codeshare flights operated by other airlines, check-in at the operating carrier's counter. Passengers can also make use of the Self-service Check-In machine, which is located next to the ANA airport counter.
Baggage Allowance & Fees
Free baggage allowance for international flights is as follows: maximum of three pieces of luggage must not exceed 32kg (70lbs) per baggage for first class passengers, maximum of two pieces of luggage must not exceed 32kg (70lbs) per baggage for business class passengers, and one piece of luggage with maximum weight of 23kg (50lbs) for economy and premium economy class passengers. All types of luggage must have total linear dimensions of 158cm (62in), including any wheels and handles. ANA Premium members and Star Alliance Gold members with partner airlines are entitled to additional free baggage allowance. Additional charge will be applied for bulky baggage, and those that will exceed the free baggage allowance. Pets will be carried in the cargo section, underneath the passenger cabin. Each passenger is limited to only one carry-on baggage that must be within the 55cm×40cm×25cm (22×16×10 inches) limit.
ANA Airlines provides four types of travel class seating. Premium Economy Class – Passengers will have the luxury of enjoying the ANA Suite Lounge and ANA Lounge, 4 types of seats, a detailed menu for inflight meals, entertainment, sleeping goods, knitwear, slippers, and amenity goods. Economy Class – Passengers will have the luxury of enjoying the ANA Suite Lounge and ANA Lounge, a detailed menu for inflight meals, entertainment, sleeping goods, and amenity goods.
