Scarborough, Filey and Whitby all have lovely beaches - great for day trips and a chance to sample local fish and chips. Check the times of the tides before setting off and leave early (or late) if travelling on the A64 which can be very busy.

Scarborough provides the perfect seaside holiday venue for people of all ages, with it's safe beaches and numerous other attractions. Scarborough is divided into two bays - North Bay and South Bay - by the Castle Headland. The North Bay contains attractions like Peasholm Park, Miniature North Bay Railway, Scarborough Sea Life Centre and The Sand's development.

What a cute little seaside town to visit! At the top of the hill you'll find a castle to explore, with nice views of the town and coast below. Then at the bottom there's the boardwalk area with a bunch of shops right by the beach & ocean. The main street area is quaint and lively and there's a cool garden/park thing along the side of a hill.
