Such a beautiful city to go an explore - the architecture blows me away each time I go!
Bath is the only UK city designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built for pleasure and relaxation, beautiful Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times. The waters are still a big draw, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the thoroughly modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. Bath’s compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain, making it the ideal city break. Immerse yourself in Bath’s remarkable collection of museums and galleries, and enjoy year-round festivals, theatre, music and sports. Bath's stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture is straight from a Jane Austen novel - highlights include the iconic Royal Crescent and the majestic Circus.
Absolutely beautiful. A small town feel without missing out on anything. Plenty of shopping and things to do, if sometimes a little pricey. Streets are kept immaculately clean, and everyone I met was so lovely. Heaven!
Bath is a pretty and elegant city. It’s a World Heritage City and is rich in architectural gems as well as natural features. The Roman Baths were built on the site of natural hot springs, and the city abounds with splendid Georgian buildings, all constructed in a visually appealing cream-coloured local stone. Nestled in the hills and on the banks of the Avon, Bath is a charming and beautiful city where there’s lots to discover.
