Zielona Gora Airport, also referred to as Port Lotniczy Zielona Gora-Babimost in Polish, is a public regional airport located within the greater Zielona Gora agglomeration or ‘Lubusian Tri-city’ in western Poland, approximately 35 kilometres or 22 miles northeast of the city centre of Zielona Gora. The airport lies in the village of Kramsko, near the town of Babimost. Residing at an elevation of 59 metres or 194 feet above mean sea level, Zielona Gora Airport has a concrete paved runway designated 06/24, measuring 2,500 metres or 8,202 feet in length.
Zielona Gora in western Poland is a city in Lubusz Vovoideship. For centuries it has been known for its wine production; the city is one of the only two places in the country with wine grape cultivation mostly for white wines.
