Ways To Check-In

Passengers on Xiamen Air must check in at the airport at the staffed counters. Generally, it is recommended that travellers arrive to check in at least an hour before domestic departures, and two hours for international ones.

Where We Fly

XiamenAir serves many airports in and out of China. It's main hubs are Changle International Airport in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province in China, and Gaoqi International Airport in Xiamen, also in Fujian. It also has non-stop flights to and from Nanchang Changbei International Airport, Tianjin Binhai International Airport, Beijing Capital International Airport, Quanzhou Jinjiang Airport, Wuyishan Airport, and Changsha Huanghua International Airport.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

All passengers may bring a carry-on bag onto the flight, with Business and Economy flyers allowed one piece weighing in at 5kg, and First Class travellers permitted to bring 2 pieces at 5kg each. All cabin bags must stay within 55cm x 35cm x 25cm measurements.

For checked bags, Economy ticket holders may bring one piece weighing 23kg, Business travellers can bring two pieces at 32kg, and First Class flyers may bring three pieces as 32kg. All bags must be within 158cm linear dimensions. Infants not occupying a seat may also have a bag, but this must weigh less than 10kg, and measure less than 115cm cumulative dimensions.

Please note, if you are travelling from Australia, Canada, the USA or Japan, and are an Economy passenger, your checked baggage allowance increases to two pieces at 23kg each.

Any excess, overweight, or oversized luggage will be subject to charges.

In-Flight Service

Xiamen Air airs movies, television shows in travel and comedy genres, as well as music videos while you travel, so the time on the flight will whizz by. The airline also offers an in-flight meal service, with a selection of Chinese and International cuisine, as well as a variety of beverages and snacks. If you require a special meal due to dietary constraints, Xiamen Air can provide what you need if you inform them of your requirements at least 24 hours before you fly.

Children between 5 and 11 years of age can travel unaccompanied on Xiamen Air using the Unaccompanied Minor service. This entails booking the fare in advance and paying the full adult price for a seat.
