Popular destinations from Mackay Airport

From Mackay, you can fly to the towns Rockhampton (ROK) and Townsville (TSV), and enjoy the former’s riverside location and colonial architecture, and the latter’s beaches and tropical climate.

Or fly instead to the cosmopolitan cities of Brisbane (BNE) and Sydney (SYD). Brisbane is a mere hour and a half away, and beyond its own charms of museums, galleries, and nightlife, you can travel the easy distance to the Gold Coast, a famed resort known for its long, golden beaches and its theme parks.
