Travellers who hold Colombian citizenship in addition to another nationality should enter and depart Colombia using a valid Colombian passport. Travellers arriving without a Colombian passport may enter by presenting proof of Colombian nationality, such as a national identity card, but may be required to obtain a Colombian passport before departing the country.

Travellers need a valid passport to enter Colombia. The traveller's passport must remain valid throughout the traveller's stay in Colombia.

Travellers require proof of a ticket showing their entrance and exit from Colombia.
