There are few paid parking lots in the area though, so you should first check which ones have available spaces. Toll roads are also to be expected here, along with a few rail lines.

Apart from rising to fame due to being the birthplace of Amadeus Mozart and the setting of the Hollywood film, “The Sound of Music”, Salzburg's Baroque and medieval centre is also drawing tourists in, through the buildings of the pedestrian Altstadt and the Neustadt.

Salzburg is within the 10-kilometre radius of the airport, reachable through the A1 or alternately through the Inssbrucker Bundesstrabe area.
