Driving around Montego Bay Airport
Traffic in Jamaica drives on the left-hand side of the road, just like in Britain. Most roads in Jamaica are single carriageways, although some sections of the A1 are dual. Be very careful while overtaking. It can be difficult to find your way around the island if you don't know it very well, as road signs are few and far between. If this is your first time visiting or driving in Jamaica we recommend selecting a car hire package that includes a sat-nav. Otherwise be prepared to stop and ask for directions.
