Good hotel in the new port

As we arrived and left the island by ferry, we chose this hotel which is close to the port. Walking with the bags, it took about 15 to 20 minutes. But taxis are very expensive on the island, minimum 40 euros, worth being in the port. And you can walk to the center, it is 2 km, by bus (the stop is opposite the hotel) or by boat, called sea bus with a stop near the hotel.
We asked for a room with sea view, and it is quite spacious and comfortable but basic.
Fridge and TV, not even an electric kettle. The bathroom somewhat small and also basic. The very nice balcony overlooking the pool and the sea.
Good breakfast in a very comfortable place with tables inside and on 2 terraces. Very friendly and friendly staff.
The wifi is NOT good, it has moments that remain unanswered, they should improve it.
But in the sum of pros and cons it is a very good option, at an expensive price but cheaper than most on the island.

Kind Staff, but the Location Made Our Stay Less Enjoyable

We understand that Mykonos is an extremely expensive destination and, within our budget, Olia Hotel may have been one of the best available options. However, there are a few important points future guests should consider.
The main positive aspect was the staff, who were consistently kind, welcoming and helpful. Our room was extremely simple considering the price, but it was impeccably clean. Breakfast was also quite basic.
The pool area is beautiful, although the strong local winds and very cold water made it difficult to enjoy. This seemed to be the case not only for us, as most guests preferred to remain on the sun loungers rather than use the pool.
However, the main reason we would choose a different hotel next time is the location. Being close to the ferry port and having free parking may initially seem convenient, but much of the Mykonos experience involves walking through the charming alleys, shops and restaurants of Mykonos Town. From the hotel, accessing these areas was more complicated than expected.
Although there are large public parking areas near the town, they were crowded, disorganised and unable to handle the volume of cars. Combined with the chaotic traffic, staying farther away made some outings unnecessarily stressful.
Overall, Olia Hotel offers excellent cleanliness and a genuinely kind team, but for us, staying within walking distance of Mykonos Town would have made the experience much more enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olia Hotel. The pool was beautiful, the layout was charming, our twin room with concrete beds was super cute. Often couldn’t get a pool lounge which was annoying, and could do with a fix. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The internet didn’t work very well in our room right at the rear and they tried really hard to fix it, by offering us a wifi extender offering us a room change but in the end, we just made do, sitting on a bench in the garden under the antenna. The location a couple of hundred meters from the ferry was really handy and bus to town and to the airport is literally tight outside the front fence. While the town is walking distance, the road is so unsafe with no pavement and full of potholes, that the bus was necessary. We will come back!

Beautiful, friendly & convenient base that gave us a quiet room, lovely breakfasts and an easy stay.

This was our second stop on our Greek island‑hopping adventure. We arrived in Mykonos by ferry, and the hotel’s location close to the port was ideal — especially when it was time to head back. Our room was at the back of the complex, lovely and quiet, and as a suite it was absolutely huge. The large fridge was perfect for keeping drinks and food cool, and with a couple of small supermarkets next door, it was easy to stock up on fruit, yoghurt, cheese and meats for lunch. The complex itself was beautiful, with flowers in bloom giving it that classic Greek feel.
The pool area is on the smaller side, but we never struggled to get sunbeds, and guests were great about not reserving them for hours. My husband walked into Mykonos Town (which he described as a bit hairy), while my daughter and I took the sea taxi nearby we was easy and fun. Breakfast each morning was lovely, typically Greek with plenty of fruit and yoghurt, and the rustic seating area/restaurant added to the charm. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We’d happily recommend this hotel.

Terrible hotel, do not ruin your lovely vacation.

Misleading advertising; they show pictures of nice rooms, but in reality, they are dirty, with broken items and unclean walls. The tall man at the reception is rude and did not assist us at any moment; he told us that if we wanted to leave, we should do so; our experience was terrible. We booked many months in advance.
