The Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) is the main hub for the storied city of Cusco in Peru. Only 4km and 10 minutes from the centre of town, passengers wanting to get to this airport can do so via taxis or buses.

 

There are six destinations available from this hub, and you can travel to other cities in the country, and out to neighbouring nations in South America.

Added to that you can indulge in the excellent cuisine, such as the tapas, paella, and bold red wines. You can also fly from Lima to London (LGW), the UK’s capital, and you’ll discover that what it lacks in heat, it makes up for in palaces, castles, dungeons, towers, plus an incredible entertainment scene.

 

If you’d rather not sit on a plane for over 10 hours, but would still like to fly somewhere international, you can get to Colombia’s hopping city of Bogota (BOG), or the lofty heights of La Paz (LPB) in Bolivia in less than four hours.
