Krabi Airport, Krabi, Thailand

Krabi Airport (KBV) is an important aviation hub for any traveller wanting to explore the Krabi Province. There are lots of things to see here; including Krabi’s fascinating main town, the region’s lush national parks, and the famed Ko Lanta and the islands of Phi Phi that are lapped by the azure waters of the Andaman Sea. Though the airport is fairly compact for an international facility, it sees millions of passengers each year wanting to discover the charms of Thailand’s western coast.

Guests of this airport will find that though the amenities aren’t extensive, they do cover all practical transit needs. You will find cash machines, bureau de change counters, and car hire booths. For eating, you have options of a Subway, Dairy Queen, the Yellow Orchid restaurant run by Thai Airways, and a few coffee shops. For shoppers, there are a few souvenir counters, and small gift shops, but no duty-free areas.

Krabi is very well connected to Australia, and there are several carriers that will fly you to this side of the country. Look for flights with AirAsia, Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways, China Eastern, Scoot, Emirates, and SilkAir.
