Musée Volcanologique - This museum was founded in the 1932 by an American adventurer and volcanologist named Frank Perret and it also gives a glimpse of the devastating 1902 eruption of Mont Pelée. The museum features a collection of things from the rubble and historic photos of the town before and immediately after the eruption. Fortunately for tourists, the displays are in English and French and the maps of the city are handed out on request.
