Restaurant meals were not good value for money.
It is cheaper to have 2 courses plus a desert, compared with 3 courses with same food.

the room was both comfortable sit in and sleep. Ideal temperature. Brilliant shower
the breakfast was a good range for self service.
Nice meal in the bistro bar but would have liked to have been asked about the added tip. Only noticed its addition after looking at the bill receipt.
staff were very helpful and courteous.
Hotel was lovely and quiet. very restful

1st day of stay was great but today my 2nd day was the complete opposite. I had been acknowledged by a lady at reception in a very demeaning tone as if to say what are the likes of you doing at the hotel. I thought thick skin here and shrugged it off. Later when coming back to the hotel after getting a meal I was literally followed by another receptionist (male) who followed me to the elevator and asked which floor i was on despite having an access key card in my hand. I've had many instances of passive racism but this is next level!

Staff at reception were very straightforward not friendly.
The room was freezing, heating wasn't available because it's "Summer"

Every time we have stayed here it has not disappointed. Think this was our 5 or 6th stay in the last 2 years.
