Student Accommodation

I have lived at Twerton Mill accommodation in Bath for two years now, first year was in a En Suite with five other lovely students who I’m still friends with now, and the second year I chose to stay in one of there studios, and I don’t regret it at all. The location of Twerton mill is half way between the bath spa uni and only a 5 minute drive to the city centre, and is only a 2 minute walk from Marks and Spencer and lidl which was very handy.
The En suite room in my first year was a perfect size and everything was clean and looked brand new and modern, I also had the bonus of a view of fields. The kitchen was cleaned professionally every 2 weeks which was also a bonus never giving it a chance to be a proper mess. There is also a nice long desk in the room and a study chair, along with a clean bathroom, shelving and loads of storage space in the room. The staff and receptionists were also very friendly and helpful when I needed them.
The bills included Wifi and was always working and fast whenever I used it, also they include the water and gas. There is also bicycle storage which was very handy for me as I ride my bike a lot; and a Laundry room in reception area and common room, which has lots of clean washing machines and tumble dryers that are well taken care of. The common room was my favourite area as it has a new pool table, tv and cozy sofas, and I always waited in there while my laundry was being done. They also hosted weekly games and events in the common room which was also nice for meeting new people in the accommodation. There’s 24/7 cctv cameras and security who are always in reception.
My second year at Twerton Mill was just as good as the first, as I chose to live in one of there studios, which was bigger than the en suite, and I had my own kitchen with an oven fridge and other kitchen utilities. I had a double bed again and is extremely comfortable, and a sofa and table along side it. Living here was like staying in a hotel, where it had a sense of freshness everyday and it made my university experience even better than I could of imaged. The only negative I can think of while living here is the storage under the bed, as it was quite hard to get to as I'm not very strong, although was still loads of storage for me to use.
I highly recommend this accommodation to Bath Spa students and Uni of Bath students as there is also buses that go to and from Twerton Mill to the universities.

Modern and clean enough but it isn't really made clear enough that this is literally just a room. There is no use of the kitchen, that was padlocked and so no way of even making a cup of tea. Not sure that is made clear enough in the booking. Just a kettle and a mug would have made a difference.

Student Accommodation

Remember this is a good price for a reason, it's student accommodation. That said rooms are small but clean and modern. There is no TV but good tea and coffee making. You also have access to the kitchen, but if you want to use it bring your own stuff.
Downsides not much, they only pain is lack of parking, you have to park on the busy main road. It is also noisy with traffic and the railway close by. We walked in good half hour on the road slightly longer using the river path, but much nicer. There is lidl, marks and mc Donald's close by.
Very good for the price, rooms all small doubles. Would recommend for a budget stay.

Staying in Bath

My wife and I recently stopped at the Pure Citystay Twerton Mill Bath. These are student accommodation and used out of term. We found the accommodation to be very clean and tidy. The location is sited within a good 15 minutes walk to Bath city centre, so ideal if you do not want to pay high prices, but are prepared to walk. There is no on-site parking, but you can park on the main road opposite. When we read some of the previous review's, they mentioned noise. We did not experience any loud noises, you do hear the occasional doors banging, but this is due to the fact most of the doors automatically shut behind you, so they tend to bang. We had a very pleasant stay, the Security staff were very kind and friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be stopping here.

Great Value

Considering the cost of Hotels in Bath this was a cheaper stay for us.
The rooms were ample size
Beds were comfy
Didnt really have any issues with the sound but we were located a block back from the front ones which are on the main road.
No parking but had street parking and didnt have any issues finding a space
Very friendly welcome from reception
Would have been nice to have had some plates etc in the kitchen area as we bought food back but nothing to eat it with. But always find a way

Very good location
