Some places change you once. Phuket Cleanse changes you every single time — and somehow goes deeper with each return.
I have just completed my fourth retreat here in four years, and I am writing this with a full heart and complete conviction: this place is not a wellness retreat in the conventional sense. It is a container for genuine, lasting transformation. Whatever version of yourself you arrive as, Phuket Cleanse creates the conditions to shed what no longer belongs — and to meet who you are becoming.
Each visit has marked a turning point in my life. Not just a rest or a reset — a real and irreversible shift in how I see myself and what I’m willing to create.
My fourth retreat was perhaps the most profound yet. The combination of cleansing protocols, exercise programs, wellness routines, breathwork, meditation, yoga , amongst the many options available.And the extraordinary community of practitioners here created space for a level of release and intentional visioning I didn’t expect — even after three previous visits. I arrived carrying the weight of a complex chapter and left with genuine clarity, groundedness, and a felt sense of new possibility that I carried home with me.
At the heart of Phuket Cleanse is its founder and owner, Melanie. She is quite simply extraordinary. Her knowledge of the body, the mind, and the intricate relationship between the two is vast and hard-won. What sets Melanie apart is not just her expertise — it is the quality of her wisdom. She has a rare gift for meeting each person exactly where they are, offering insights that land with precision and compassion in equal measure. More than once over my four visits, something she has shared has quietly shifted the way I see myself. That is not something you forget.
The breathwork sessions in particular are extraordinary. To be held through that depth of inner work in such a skilled, safe environment is genuinely rare. I came away having done some of the most meaningful personal work of my life — not in a therapist’s office, but in a room full of people also willing to go there.
What keeps me returning year after year is not just the physical cleanse — though that alone is remarkable — it is the cumulative effect. Each retreat builds on the last. Under Melanie’s stewardship, the team holds the space with such expertise and warmth that even familiar protocols feel fresh and purposeful. The food, the setting, the programme design — all of it reflects her vision and her genuine commitment to transformation that actually lasts. You feel that intention in every detail.
My spirit guide first made herself known to me here. That alone tells you the depth of what becomes possible when you truly let this place work on you.
If you are standing at a threshold — if you sense that something needs to change, that you are ready for a new chapter, or simply that you are long overdue for genuine rest and renewal — I cannot recommend Phuket Cleanse highly enough. Come once with an open heart. I promise: you will return.

One of a kind Mind Body and Soul reset

Phuket Cleanse operates on a principle that's become increasingly rare: genuine personalization. I've returned for two consecutive years, and I'm booking again—not because it's a checkbox wellness retreat, but because Melanie and the team actually listen.
What distinguishes this place isn't the marketing narrative. It's the coherence. The programming is thoughtfully scaffolded—there's genuine benefit architecture whether you're here for physical detox, consciousness work, or something unnameable in between. The staff don't funnel everyone through identical experiences; they meet you where you are and design accordingly.
The density of returning guests speaks volumes. These aren't Instagram-day tourists. People come back year after year because something substantive happens here. The community element is organic, not engineered—the kind of shared intentionality that emerges when staff and guests actually care about the process rather than the outcome metrics.
It's one of the few places I've found where the esoteric and practical aren't in conflict—where a serious detox protocol coexists with actual consciousness engagement, and nobody has to choose between them.
Worth going back to. Worth going back to repeatedly.

Lige changing

Having suffered from various health issues I have been to many retreats, health places and wellness hotels for over a decade. And then I discovered Phuket Cleanse and now there is a before and after. The kind and supportive fitness team and physio help rehabilitate after old and long term injuries, wonderful kitchen crew prepares bountiful delicious diverse meals that heal stomach issues and regular schedule improves digestion and sleeping, meditations and courses help rewire the nervous systeem. And most of all, simply wonderful atmosphere at the retreat and staff and guests who are kind, open, supportive and accept you the way you are. I felt most rejuvenated, full of positivity, power and vitality after Phuket cleanse. I am so grateful this place exists and i shall come back many times.
