The hotel room itself was gorgeous, semi-comfortable bed, the room was cleaned each day and restocked water and toiletries.
The location is pretty good as it is next to Central and also a day/evening market with a 7/11 at the end of the road.
My biggest problem was safety. It doesn’t have a road front lobby so you have to go through a little ally then up some stairs to get to the rooms. The door to the stairs is open 24/7 with no lock so literally anyone could get up into the hotel. The rooms only had a simple handle push button lock and didn’t have any other safety system. The lack of security and not having any reception staff on except when they are expecting guests to arrive/ leave meant the hotel feels very unsafe. As a solo traveller, that is my primary concern. There was a safety issue at one point with a guest being disruptive in the halls, it took about an hour for this to be sorted by a member of staff as I actually had to contact the owner of the hotel who then had to get some staff to the hotel to sort the problem. So even though it is a nice hotel, it wasn’t worth being worried about my safety.

The room is huge and cozy. Excelent location, close to Patong Beach. Staff is friendly. The bed is big and soft.

Fantastic new hotel...with unbelievable noise from bar across the road at night

This new hotel looked amazing on Booking.com..and l was thrilled with my room on arrival...but what l was not told was there was a bar across the road which caters for men stopping on motorbikes all through the night..not to buy drinks..you can guess why..and the music blasting out till 8am..no sleep..so if you book..insist on room at rear of building..hopefully less noise..staff moved me to new room at 8am..so cannot comment on noise in this room..feel sorry for Owner..unsure she knew about the noisy bar at from of Residence
