Gorgeous mountain hotel!
Absolutely stunning property- we so enjoyed our stay here. Not only is the hotel beautiful with amazing views, but it also is mere minutes away from the train station. The staff at Maya makes it incredibly special- they were friendly and helpful in every way… special shoutout to Ellen at the front desk and Sanja and Eliza in the restaurant. The food in the dining area was amazing- for both breakfast and dinner. The Hutton viewing mountains was a nice treat- could be heated a bit more. Will definitely return!!!

Hotel surviving on great views only!
We wanted to love this hotel however it was a huge disappointment. The staff did their best and tried to accommodate guests. We stayed 4 nights and had a “superior room with balcony” by their designated rooms. By the end of our stay we had asked enough questions to conclude that it is really the hotel owners who are to blame for the shortcomings of this property. To start all the towel should be thrown away. It appeared that very little detergent was used and edges were frayed. Pillows were horrible. Two thin pillows that were so thin they don’t feel like a pillow and the thicker one had lumpy stuffing . The hotel spa did not appear sanitary and we only went in the hot tub once! There was no place to put your belongings in the shower and the floor was extremely slippery. They had a shampoo/soap gel mounted to the wall in the shower and also by the bathroom sink. The one in the shower ran out and was not refilled. We finally found the maid and she refilled it promptly. The balcony has amazing views however, the people with rooms next to you, on each side, are able to look past the divider into your balcony and worse yet into your room. No privacy!!! It is also easy to get into your room if they wanted to. Since the hotel has no air conditioning the windows are kept opened for air circulation. This hotel cost us $700 a night. We are in Europe for one month, prior to this hotel we were in Chamonix, Zermatt and now we are in Vienna (Wien) our hotels in these locations cost the same per night or more and have all been 5 star ratings. Mont Blanc, Mont Cervin and now hotel Motto. This hotel should not be charging more than $200 a night! Beware! On the plus side. They had a great pizza restaurant that we ordered from several times.

Holiday bliss
What a gorgeous hotel in a perfect place with wonderfully friendly staff. We had an amazing stay with you for 5 nights, thank you for looking after us. BTW, this is by far also the best place to eat in Wengen!! We celebrated my wife’s birthday and had the best time.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a dreamlike mountain setting
The Maya Caprice Boutique Hotel & Spa is a beautiful hotel in a dreamlike location in Wengen. The journey by train and the ride up into the mountains already make the stay something special. On-site, you can expect a great combination of stylish ambiance, cozy atmosphere, and an impressive Swiss mountain backdrop. I found the view of the mountains from the outdoor pool and the terrace, as well as the special charm of Wengen, particularly beautiful.
The location is also perfect for exploring the surrounding area. From Wengen, numerous excursion destinations and activities in the Jungfrau Region can be reached – from hikes and mountain railways to excursions towards the Jungfraujoch. At the same time, Wengen offers the perfect opportunity to simply enjoy nature and find peace.
A wonderful place to escape everyday life, discover the Swiss mountains, and spend a few special days. I would definitely come back.

A fantastic hotel
A fantastic hotel with a professional and friendly staff, and a breathtaking view. The caterers are wonderful and the food is delicious. Definitely worth a repeat visit. It’s a 2-minute walk to the station,3 minutes to the Coop supermarket, 5 minutes to the Mannilichen cable car. There’s an elevator in the hotel. The bed and pillows are very comfy, water pressure is great. The view from the balcony is superb and undisturbed. Very quiet and family-friendly place.
