Very attentive and warm hotel

We had to book a hotel after an unforeseen defect in our car in the peak season in Girona. We ended up at Hotel Europa.
The welcome was very warm and above all hugely understanding.
Both the owner and all staff were very attentive and always willing to assist us.
Moreover, the hotel is very well located to visit the city afterwards (700m) as well as quite close to Girona train station.
Breakfast they do not give but you can find that for a very cheap price with high quality in the area. There are plenty of dining options in Girona.
This is a hotel where you are also safe, no one will come in who should not be there.
Unlike large chains, this hotel is a very warm and friendly hotel. Everything is there, is basic, is clean and you are helped in a way that you can no longer find today. Top hotel!

Good value hotel near train station. However, more expensive because of several festivals in town. Very Good Service by Hotel Staff

More basic smallish rooms

clean room on the basic side front desk excellent and all staff polite and friendly - door access 24/7 with someone on the desk rooms fairly basic thus I guess 2 star good place to put luggage No safe or any extras shower good Quite locationwould stay again Its a bit of a walk into town but near train and bus station

Very well located and quiet hotel

Hotel is well located near the train station and the city center with attentive staff who speak French. Very calm night. Small downside we can hear the neighbors passing in the hallway. Otherwise perfect for visiting Girona

Didn’t even stay…

Grubby from the outside, worse when you step inside! Awful smell of smoke in the rooms. They were also very basic. Balcony filthy. Checked out within 10 minutes and booked into somewhere new. This hotel is in dire need of a refurb!! Do not stay here!!
