great hostel

a very good hostel in a very good location an easy place to find not a far walk to the tram station and the beach and bars & good shops nearby good size of room & a good bed , i would stay here again i was made very welcomed good they let you leave your suitcase

This hostel is not recommended.

The only advantage of this hostel is that it is located in the city center. There is a lack of hygiene in the showers. The rooms also constantly have horrible odors, in addition to the small rooms where 16 people are crammed; it feels like a chicken coop. Concerning the staff. They are unpleasant; they do not smile, especially the guy with the dreadlocks who has no respect for the guests. He plays music loudly, disturbing those who want to rest or sleep. After all, we pay to sleep and rest. As for the owner of this hostel, she is truly unfriendly; they do not want us to stand in front of the building located downstairs. It's crazy how they expect you to consume at the bar to be treated well. I would advise against this hostel; concerning the kitchen, it is small and full of insects. You cannot cook, while the employees have all the equipment to cook. Avoid this hostel.

DISHONESTY REIGNS SOVEREIGN HERE!!

I had booked 4 nights in this hostel a few months ago, having had some problems I wasn't able to leave for Alicante... however I immediately contacted BOOKING with whom I had made the booking who put me in contact with this hostel who, having explained the problem, sent me a message later a few days a voucher for the 4 nights to be recovered valid until December 2023!
I contacted them a week ago by phone and email, sending the same voucher that they had sent me, they denied having ever issued it and that I was definitely the wrong hostel, complete with logo, dates and booking number!!
I tried calling at least ten times but as soon as they heard my voice they hung up the phone..
Denying the evidence in this way I find it deplorable behavior and locals like this shouldn't work...be wary of this place!!

Ridiculous refund policy

I booked 3 days at the hostel one hour before my flight departure and there was an issue resulting in me not being able to fly. I immediately within the hour cancelled my booking and was told I would be charged for the entire stay as their policy was you need to cancel 3 days prior to arrival. Obviously that was impossible for me so I used booking.com option to ask for an acceptation. After not receiving any communication i continued to communicate with booking.com to resolve this on my behalf. Now almost 2 months later I finally am told I was marked as a “no show” and because the booking was 2 months ago I had left it too late to ask the special refund request (that of which was requested one hour after my booking). I’m upset that I did everything I could to communicate with the hostel and explain my situation but the blame still landed on me as if I never bothered to show up. They did not communicate back to booking.com no mayself to resolve this issue after attempting many times to contact them.Terrible customer service as I did everything I could to communicate my situation yet was still put down as a “no show” which they clearly knew I was not.

Wonderful place with lovely staff.

FANTASTIC STAY, the staff (mainly the young ladies) were so friendly and efficient and hard working, always cleaning and checking that things were OK.
The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, location was great, kitchen was sufficient and the outside area was cosy. I would certainly recommend this hostel.
