Hotel/taxi review

We spent one night at the Royal Inca Hotel. We arranged for a transfer from the Lima Airport to the hotel, hotel driver was there to pick us up. Jose from Royal Inca drove us the next day to the main bus terminal at Plaza Norte where we caught our bus to Huaraz. We arranged for Jose to pick us up again when we returned from Huaraz, true to his word he picked us up despite our bus being two hours late. Jose drove us to our Airbnb in La Molina. Lastly we arranged with Jose a return trip from La Molina back to the airport, again no issues, all prices were fair. Hotel was conveniently located and very clean. Royal Inca taxi service was very reliable. Would definitely recommend the hotel and the taxi service they provide. Taxi was large enough for four passengers and all our luggage.

Nice Hotel

The check in was easy. We got to our room on the 2nd floor. It was nice with decent sized beds. Most beds are small in Peru. The draw back to the room was the shower did not work decent. We had made a complaint with the front desk but nothing changed until my husband removed the inner part of the shower head, then we could finally take a decent shower.
There was a restaurant there with good food. Breakfast was included. We stayed here to get acclimated to the altitude rather than staying in Cusco.

Poor customer service bordering on extortion!!

Extortion - My flight was cancelled at 1am and I was stranded in Lima. It's too late to reserve via Booking.com at a guaranteed price so I called the hotel. The front desk man speaks perfect english and understood my dilemma, he told me not to worry and come straight to the hotel. However, on arrival he informed me he would charge me higher than the advertised rate because I had no other options! Unbelievable!!!

One night for lay over

We booked one night due to the 12hr gap between our connecting flight. The driver was at the airport with our name up and quick to spot. Which was relieving as Jorje Chavez airport can be quite chaotic. We arrived at night and the drive back to the hotel was quick at about 20 minutes. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and the transfer for the next morning was easy to organise for $10 USD. This area of Lima was a touch intense and the hotel was a nice safe haven from stray dogs, crazy drivers and more.

Night stay

I booked Royal Inca because I had a long flight connection, and they offer transfer from and to the airport. The hotel is clean, the staffs are really courteous, and Trustful. I recommend this hotel for sure.
