Great Stay in central of Yangon. But away from the hustle bustle of the city

Having had a great stay at Ambassador Hill in Yangon again.
Given the current situation in Myanmar, I am still impressed about the hospitality and level of service at Ambassador Hill Hotel. It is a safe place in the central Golden Valley Area of Yangon. Very quiet at night. The upgraded restaurant offers some delicious food - I just ordered with the receptionist. So no need to leave the hotel for food. But there are also good food options near by, e.g., Paramilitary Pizza if you feel like having a ‚Italian Break‘ Taxi or Grab is readily available. Happy staying here again !

First of all, they said that I had changed the reservation but Expedia had not contacted the hotel.
The staff is always eager to provide good service.
Breakfast is inadequate, low in vegetables and protein.
There are many large houses around and few supermarkets or shops. However, there is a restaurant about a five minute walk away where you can have dinner.

I regret sleeping there

POS machine is broken and can't use bank card. During blackout at night, generator broken down as well. Had to sit in the dark for hours. There are mosquito in the room and can't sleep well. Woke up morning with the noise of drilling and banging from renovation. Cannot use wifi in the room. only 3 or 4 free tv channels. terrible experience. waste of money.
