Hotel’s manager even provided our transportation. It was very helpful for us.

Nothing like the picture

Nothing like what it looks like in the photos. Neglected to the level of abandoned and unloved. People working there are lovely. They keep the rooms clean and cook well but owners can’t be nice if they think they should charge for staying there. It was depressing.

Check in was good. My room had two leaks and it was raining most days; one of the leaks dripped onto one of the beds. Ants were present; no left overs or snacks could be in the room due to this. Pool was open but not enough lights around it. Menu available was very limited. WiFi was very good throughout the place. No AC in rooms and the fan we had was too noisy to have it on at night. No beach access or beach nearby!! Hotel has no info or contacts for local taxis or airport shuttles. No mini fridge, we were not told we could have items in the hotel’s main fridge either. Mosquitoes were in the room every night, no bed nets available, seems staff leave doors open while doing room cleaning and plenty of mosquitoes get in.

The Mayan jungle

A hotel inside the jungle. Close to everything. Cenotes. Beaches and between Tulum and Playa del Carmen. It takes a car to get around. It has good restaurant and pool. Temazcal and is located in Chemuyil next to Akumal. It is good for a yoga retreat and events.
