Hotel Ducale, Italy...LIES about Accessibility

The photos are not the true representation of the hotel. False advertisement and accessibility features. As a wheelchair user their accessibility is non existent.
It would have been common courtesy and customer service to advise me upon arrival the booked space was not suited.
The elevator appeared to be a small service elevator. My wheelchair could not get in and it is a small wheelchair.
When I told them I could not get in I was given a wooden chair to use inside the elevator and have someone lift my wheelchair up the stairs.
The hotel had a poignant order, from the lobby to the rooms.
It was unbearable. The health department should check the space out.
The hotel room was already small to house a double and a twin bed. I was unable to get in the bathroom or even get to the bed.
The attitudes sealed the deal for us leaving when they refused to give the refund with us checkinf in less than one hour and laughing at the matter.
DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!
If you need access, have a group of two or more persons or actually enjoy cleanliness.

Terrible experience!

Nightmare experience!
To call it a hotel is a compliment. I had booked for two nights trusting the positive reviews and the photos uploaded on the site, but it is all a lie. I lasted 10 minutes in the room before fleeing to another hotel, even though I had already paid for everything. Zero welcome and less than zero cleanliness. Upon entering, the floor had strange white stains, the room had a rather unpleasant odor, there was no air conditioning and not even a minibar. A nightmare! I often travel for leisure and I have never had an experience like this. The only advice I feel compelled to give is to stay away from this establishment, which certainly cannot be defined as a 3-star hotel.

The staff was very helpful but the cleaning was ok. The bed sheets had a smell. Like maybe stored for a long time. I don't know. I guess for the price is OK.

Poor, very disappointing

If you are considering this hotel, I would strongly suggest you find a different one.
The positives: front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful
The room appeared clean.
The negatives: the photos of the hotel are very deceiving, and not at all the reality.
There is no dining room, no breakfast, and you must pay for coffee.
The room is so small that the door will not open all the way because it hits the small bedside table.
We requested two beds, as we are two women travelling together. Upon arrival, one queen bed. Room was so small, one of us had to crawl out the foot of the bed, because there was zero space between the bed and wall.
There are no amenities in the bathroom, except for one very small bar of soap.
There is a shower, but you can get scrubbed just turning around.
Outside the small window, is scaffolding, and no view at all.
There were what I can only assume were baby elephants in the room above us. Their room must be bigger, because we could hear constant walking above us.
We are not fussy travellers, but the room and hotel itself left much to be desired.
I would not consider this any better than a one star.

A hoax for tourists looking for a good location

A deception for tourists looking for a good location. The very dirty hotel, single rooms that you pay for as doubles, dirt everywhere and the surprise this morning when leaving the hotel has been to see the cushions, in addition to the broken curtains, unsquared door frames... The first day we asked to change room for a double as it appears in the photos, and we were told that we had to pay supplement. Abandoned hotel. No breakfasts, photos from when they opened it, it has nothing to do with reality. The worst hotel I have ever been to.
