Driving around Venice Treviso Airport
The roads around the airport are fairly small local roads, with one lane of traffic in each direction.The A27 (Mestre to Pian di Vedoia) is about ten minutes drive away. Getting to your destination

It takes just over half an hour to drive to Venice from Treviso Airport. There are no roads in the centre of Venice, with most people choosing to get around on foot or by gondola. It’s still worth renting a car for interesting day trips. You can leave your car at Pizzale Roma or Europe’s largest car park, Tronchetto. Both of these car parks charge €26 (about £18) for 12 hours, and €30 (about £21) for 24 hours. Cheaper parking is available on the mainland, but you will need to catch a train into the city.
Roman ruins, a medieval castle, and atmospheric cobbled streets have made this town at the base of Lake Garda a favourite destination for generations of artists and writers. Ezra Pound, Tennyson, and Maria Callas were all fans and we’re sure you will be too.
It takes just under two hours to drive to Sirmione from Treviso. Parking in the town can be hard to come by, so we recommend choosing accommodation with car parking. Otherwise, you can leave your car at the large car park on Viale Marconi: a short walk from the town centre
Blessed with one of Italy’s longest beaches, the seaside town of Jesolo is an excellent choice for a relaxing break.
