Small but luxurious

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Within easy walk of most of the main tourist attractions and the station. Rooftop bar had great views but was very expensive. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was decent. Large bedroom with separate dressing area, huge and comfortable bed. Room was quiet, even though the hotel is in a busy area and we were right below the bar.
Definitely recommend and would return without hesitation.

Great location, convenient to the Termini train station, restaurants, and several of the tourist sites. Very friendly and helpful staff members.

Staff was very helpful, suggested not only best walking paths to sites but also ways to avoid congestion and hills by going to different metro stations slightly farther away. Great advice!

Great overall experience with a decent location that was not too far from anywhere in the Rome city center, We loved the proximity to the Colosseum and Regoli, which is an amazing pastry shop.
We did not love the roof top bar for breakfast as it was overpriced and not good at all, especially in a city where the food is so good!
The rooftop bar had decent drinks at night if you are looking for not an inexpensive night cap.
The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.
The room was a decent size, clean, and comfortable.
Overall, great hotel and a great stay!

Great Staff, Good location, Bathroom Issues

The Major Hotel has a great location, about a 15-minute walk from the Colosseum, which was very convenient for exploring Rome. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel and our room were clean.
Unfortunately, we had some issues with the bathroom that affected our stay. On the first day, every time we flushed the toilet, a very unpleasant sewage smell spread throughout the room. By the second day, the toilet stopped flushing altogether.
We really appreciated the friendly staff, cleanliness, and location, but the bathroom issues definitely need some attention and kept our stay from being as comfortable as we had hoped.
